Melanie is always so lovely and accommodating to work with. The private excursions she found for us in Italy and Spain were AMAZING. The entire experience was nothing short of incredible, and we owe it all to her. She makes booking / sailing seamless from start to finish, and she always thinks of everything and follows up multiple times to ensure we are set. The Edge is an incredible ship The layout is terrific with plenty of open areas for lounging. The signage on the ship is easy to understand. The food was outstanding, The entertainment was very good and there was lots of live music around the ship. We picked this cruise because of the itinerary and the amenities, as well as things we had heard about the Edge. We were a little concerned about the size of the ship (larger than we normally take) but we never felt crowded. Even the buffet at breakfast and lunch seemed far less crowded than we have experienced on other cruise lines on smaller ships. I just returned from the Splendors of Egypt tour with Uniworld. I have traveled with Avalon, Tauht, and Viking and this trip was by far the best rooms and food. I would highly recommend Uniworld.
